It's been a while and so many things have been going on. I am another year older, I've been working like crazy and I recently went on vacation to get away. My husband and I went to San Diego on an expense paid vacation for his job. Although he had to do a little bit of work it was very relaxing and we had some time to enjoy the city. We were in the Mission Bay area and we stayed at they Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina where we enjoyed our first couples massage. We also drove to the nearby shopping areas and went to eat at a popular seafood restaurant and had a movie date. However, we did not get to visit the beach or the boardwalk. But we won $50 bucks, had free drinks and had lots of fun !
Good eats! My husband and I are complete foodies we love eating and trying out new restaurants or just enjoying our favorites. A friend of mine suggested that we visit the Blue Water Market and Grill that served fresh and local seafood. It was a small spot in the Mission Hills that has 4.3 stars on Google and 4 out of 5 starts on Yelp. The line was out the door and the wait was about 20-30 minutes for a table. We sat outside and the food was good but I had my mouth and mind set on something in particular and surprisingly they didn't have it. ( a lobster roll or some sort of warm lobster sandwich). So I guess that kind of
That didn't stop me...I order the ceviche and It was my favorite thing on our table. It was full of large scallops and shrimp and everything else that normal ceviche has with chips on the side. I ended up going with the fish sandwich and Denzel had a crab sandwich and we shared a soup and garlic bread that was BOMB!
We also had time to visit the famous San Diego Zoo.
